This newly created opening will befocused on the ambulatory Electronic Medical Record ("EMR") setting in physician practices and is specifically responsible for developing a thorough process for and understanding of clinical workflows, providing training and go-live support for new processes, physician practice EMR implementations, and serving as the liaison for EMR and related application user issues. The person in this role is a project leader, technical specialist and consultant during and after application software system implementation. S/he must have a thorough understanding of the practice environment and help enable the user to fully maximize the systems capabilities to meet the institutional goals of quality patient care, cost containment and operational efficiency. The Senior Systems Analyst supports communication, workflow documentation, issue reporting and other requirements between the practices, vendor, IT and other related support departments. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><BR>To be considered, you must have five years experience as an analyst supporting applications, assisting with system implementations and upgrades, and functioning in a project management role. A Bachelor''s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is also required.The ideal person will have worked directly with physicians and practice staff, maintained and supported EMR?s and Meditech, and supported an HIE working with HL7 interfaces. <BR><BR><BR>1. **Defines project scope and approach and appropriate project team members. Educates project team on the implementation process and negotiates expectations for project process and outcomes; manages project so that it meets team members? and users? mutually-agreed upon expectations.<BR>2. **Customizes work plans for projects with project team. Establishes mutually agreed-to dates and responsibilities.<BR>3. **Assembles issues list and facilitates resolution of those issues. Provides ongoing quality assurance review of work plan progress.<BR>4. Facilitates all project team, specification gathering and training meetings.<BR>5. Develops and facilitates interface specifications working in conjunction with vendor, users, and IS.<BR>6. **Develops detailed testing plan. Establishes responsibilities of IS and of users in completing the training plan and ensures that resources are dedicated to the testing process.<BR>7. **Executes IS portion of testing plan and provides quality assurance review of user testing.<BR>8. **Compares existing reports to new reports and assesses need for ad hoc or customized repor </font></td>
