The Partner Account Manager will be dedicated to a mobile operator and be responsible for developing the GTM and Sales Channel plan for the B2B Windows Phone business.<BR><BR>This position is responsible for increasing Windows Phone sales (sell through) with their assigned mobile operator through the B2B channel. The key challenges in this role are gaining access to the mobile operator Executive and Sales teams and driving sales incentive programs that are within the bounds set by the mobile operator. This position has the potential to have a significant effect on the Windows Phone business both within the subsidiary and globally by sharing best practices. The Partner Account Manager is responsible for developing a strategy for growing Windows Phone sales, within their assigned channel, with their assigned mobile operator.<BR><BR>This person will need to make key decisions around determining which activities will best meet the goal of growing Windows Phone sales. The Partner Account Manager is fully responsible for developing and executing their strategy as it relates to their mobile operator partner. This position is relatively new and the each mobile operator is different, so the individual will be responsible for determine the proper strategy, while having the ability to draw on the experience of others on the team and within Microsoft. The partner engagement manager will be responsible for working with the Mobility Solutions Manager (MSM) and individuals from many other areas including marketing and product management. They will be responsible for coordinating the efforts of these stake holders as it relates to their assigned mobile operator. The partner engagement manager will be responsible for developing relationships with the mobile operator Executive management and others in the partner community including device manufacturers and solution providers. The key stakeholders on whom this position relies will be the sales managers and marketing managers within the assigned mobile operator as well as the field sales teams. Strong sales leadership and project management is required.<BR>Candidates should have a strong wireless background with 5+ years industry experience. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, presentation, and training skills with the ability to articulate the advantages of Microsoft technology to Operator sales teams. Strong understanding and background in B2B and Enterprise selling is required along with a strong foundation on Microsoft business products.
