This could be the job for you!<BR><BR>To provide preventative maintenance checks on appliances and a multitude of other support functions in a professional and timely manner by listening carefully to Customers, Service Technicians, and members of Management. The functioning categories include:<BR>Customer Relations<BR>Inventory Maintenance<BR>Safe Driving / Safe Lifting Practices<BR><BR>To provide technical service on Preventive Maintenance calls and to perform on-the-job training tasks when working with a Repair Technician on call types.<BR><BR>Great trainee position if looking to move up in appliance repair!<BR><BR>This PMT Tech will also be assisting repair technicians on service calls that require two-tech lifting.<BR>Responsibilities/Skills/Experience Requirements To focus on the Customer, the PM Tech must:<BR><BR>Have some mechanical abilities<BR><BR>Understanding of basic electricity<BR><BR>Read maps, and follow written and verbal geographic directions.<BR><BR>Deliver parts, tools, and equipment to service technicians at job site.<BR><BR>Pick up/deliver items to local sources.<BR><BR>Assist service technicians with lifting/moving merchandise.<BR><BR>Maintain records of deliveries and pick ups for inventory purposes; and other miscellaneous duties as assigned.<BR><BR>Qualifications: Positive attitude; excellent customer service skills; safe driving record; position requires lifting up to 100 lbs.<BR><BR>Communicate effectively with the District Technical Manager, Routing, Technical Managers, and Technicians to resolve customer concerns and determine the best solution in order to provide best in class customer service<BR>Communicate effectively with tech manager & technicians by telephone to resolve customer issues regarding parts and order status<BR>Complete necessary forms.<BR>Work with retail stores to provide replacement items and solve customer issues<BR>Assist Technicians with lifting or moving appliances away from walls in order to make repairs; look-up on service orders pertaining to service history<BR><BR>Document customer feedback as appropriate<BR>Assist with technician truck stock inventories<BR><BR>Adhere to all company policies and procedures<BR>Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned<BR><BR>Essentail Functions<BR>To provide exemplary customer service, the PM Tech must possess the following skills:<BR><BR>Ability to treat all customers with respect and dignity<BR>Ability to work with minimal supervision<BR>Must be able to accurately and timely process paperwork<BR>Must be able to use computer databases<BR>Must be able to operate telephone systems and demonstrate excellent phone etiquette skills<BR>Ability to work productively and effectively when faced with stressful situations.
