Independently, they can both improve various aspects of design and manufacturing. But utilizing them together can play a significant role in getting products to market faster, safer and cheaper.<BR><BR>The Boeing IT team is seeking a Specialist in Virtual and Augmented Reality with experience in all aspects of application and hardware design process designing and conducting user research, translating user requirements into intuitive designs/prototypes, conducting usability evaluations and recommending design changes based on results.<BR><BR>This VR/AR Specialist will collaborate with project teams and members of the Virtual Reality Community team to create effective, usable and engaging IT products used by Boeing''s customers, suppliers and employees. We are looking for a well-rounded individual who is able to actively involve users throughout all phases of a project to ensure product usability. A driving force that facilitates change, this individual is able to work collaboratively with developers and product and project managers, and is able to relate compelling stories about users and effectively communicate interaction design ideas.<BR><BR>This position posting is for an entry level programmer/analyst position for Boeing''s Information Technology division. The organization offers a diverse range of both the people who the new hire will get to work with and the systems they would work on if selected. Programmer analysts are responsible for providing assistance to design, program and execute simple test plans. Implements, documents and maintains basic computing applications. They would write and compile basic code and construct basic database objects based on documented design. Responsibilities would also include modifying or upgrading applications to maintain software functionality, assisting in gathering information to determine architecture specifications, parameters for software compatibility, application security needs and other application architecture requirements<BR><BR>The new team members will be paired with a mentor who will help acclimate them to the position.
