Over 1300 LPS staff members use the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform, Salesforce.com. This application manages the relationship and operational needs of over 100,000 supplier partners. The candidate would support the continued growth of the Salesforce.com application throughout our Lodging Partner Services organization.<BR><BR>Responsibilities:<BR><BR>This candidate will support the configuration and deployment of enhancements and custom Visualforce/APEX code to the various Salesforce.com environments including sandboxes, testing, and production as part of our standard application release process. This individual will be solely responsible for the integrity of the application code functioning in the production environment. The candidate will use code versioning software to plan the code "branching" by working with the three development teams to ensure that the code for each project can move through the dev, test, production environments without conflicting with other projects underway with staggered release schedules in complex business settings. Perform synchronization of various development (sandboxes), test, and production environments as releases are completed to ensure each team has access to latest code base. This role will require the employee to quickly assemble very complex application code and resolve all conflicts before launching into production environment. The candidate will need to draw on his/her technical skills and experience to be successful in this dynamic, multi-faceted business environment. Candidate will consult with management on business priorities and conflict resolution. <BR><BR>Qualifications:<BR><BR>Experience with Salesforce.com and developing and deploying large customizations on the force.com platform, including Visualforce and APEX for large enterprises. Direct experience in creating and maintaining various sandbox environments for development and testing. Working knowledge of the source code versioning processes and tools like Eclipse, Git, GitHub, and Jenkins. Work within large project teams taking direction and providing guidance to large development teams. Ensure compliance with coding standards and unit testing of software projects with high quality solutions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Salesforce.com Developer Certification is nice to have. <BR><BR>Work Experience and Education Guidelines:<BR><BR>High School or Technical Associates Degree required or equivalent work experience required.
