This role will report to the Senior Manager, PeopleCost Accounting and will have accounting and reporting responsibility for key compensation programs and expenses. <BR><BR><BR><BR>Core responsibilities include: <BR><BR>Prepare and process recurring journals, identify and process non-recurring journals.<BR><BR>Prepare account reconciliations, independently research exceptions and resolve issues and maintain in accordance with company policy.<BR><BR>Provide fluctuation analysis for assigned expense and balance sheet accounts for various comparative time periods.<BR><BR>Prepare reports and schedules as required for audits.<BR><BR>Prepare analysis and complete inquiries to provide business insight.<BR><BR>Provide support for SOX compliance and company policies.<BR><BR>Support non-routine projects such process re-engineering, cross functional projects, material reconciliation issues, system implementations, etc.<BR><BR><BR><BR>Additionally, as the Accountant within the Peoplecost Accounting team, you will:<BR><BR>Document business processes and assess current processes for efficiency.<BR><BR>Provide support to business partners across the world wide organization<BR><BR>Identify opportunities and make recommendations to streamline and gain efficiencies.<BR><BR>Support Peoplecost policies or processes across the organization<BR><BR><BR><BR>Professional Competencies:<BR><BR>Execute accounting practices according with GAAP and local statutory requirements.<BR><BR>Team player who effectively interacts with peers and business partners across the company.<BR><BR>Driven to complete activities on time and draw issues to closure.<BR><BR>Flexible in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment and customer focused.<BR><BR>Strong analytical skills: ability to identify and analyze issue; focus on relevant information; understand and utilizes metrics relevant to role.<BR><BR>Ability to balance macro and micro views and apply to problem solving as well as reporting and fluctuation analysis.<BR><BR><BR><BR>Requirements:<BR><BR>BA/BS in Accounting or Finance.<BR><BR>3+ years corporate accounting experience.<BR><BR>Effective oral and written communications.<BR><BR>Peoplesoft or Oracle financial systems preferred.<BR><BR>Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
