Using Expedia and air industry data, the successful candidate will tackle complex business problems, develop solutions, and present recommendations to senior internal and external stakeholders. The person will thrive managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, in a dynamic and fast-changing environment. This individual must be self-motivated, able to deal with ambiguity, and work well within short time constraints. <BR><BR>Responsibilities<BR><BR>? Proactively identify opportunities to assist air suppliers in growing their business through the Expedia sales channels<BR>? Collaborate with multiple Expedia departments on key air revenue initiatives, contributing valuable insights on incremental revenue opportunities<BR>? Support Expedia leadership by serving as a subject matter expert on Americas air revenues<BR>? Conceive, design and effectively communicate rigorous analytical frameworks<BR>? Take full ownership of complex analytical projects, communicating results to internal customers throughout the company<BR>? Stay abreast of economic and industry trends, and their impact on the air business<BR><BR>Requirements<BR><BR>? BA/BS, preferably in a quantitative discipline; a graduate degree would be considered an asset<BR>? At least 3 years? airline revenue management experience is essential; e-commerce experience is a plus<BR>? Strong technical skills, e.g., Business Objects, Sabre, QL2<BR>? Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and demonstrated experience in quantitative analysis and modeling using large data sets<BR>?
