The position will report to the Manager of Technology Solutions.<BR>??<BR>Responsibilities<BR><BR>Understand the Lodging Operations process and how technology can drive efficiency and improve work quality<BR>Lead the structuring of analyses to size business impact and drive data-driven decisions (includes gathering and synthesizing relevant data)<BR>Assist in creating and managing the technology roadmap for the tools and systems used by Lodging Operations agents. Executing the roadmap will increase agent productivity and improve customer experience<BR>Partners with Lodging Operations to manage and continually improve the customer and staff experience while reducing operating costs.<BR>Establish and track success metrics for each project<BR>Provides continuous feedback to internal customers through meetings, formal reporting and quarterly business reviews<BR>?<BR>Qualifications?<BR><BR>Excellent strategic and tactical business skills and a passion for using data to drive better decision making<BR>Demonstrated ability to develop analytical frameworks for complex business issues and financial analyses<BR>Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects across multiple divisions and functions with geographically distributed teams<BR>Proven ability to work cross functionally to drive the implementation of new features as well as resolve operational issues<BR>Strong oral and written communication skills<BR><BR>Work Experience and Education Guidelines<BR><BR>Bachelor's degree or equivalent<BR>5+ years of work experience in similar strategy and analysis roles<BR>Expert knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint<BR>Knowledge of Statistical packages (SAS), SQL and BusinessObjects is a plus<BR><BR><BR>About Expedia Inc.<BR><BR>Our mission is to revolutionize travel through the power of technology.<BR><BR>Collectively, the Expedia, Inc. brands cover virtually every aspect of researching, planning, and booking travel, from choosing the best airplane seat, to reading personal travel reviews of hotels, to planning what to do in a destination once you arrive.
