The Global Customer Operations (“GCO”) group at Expedia is responsible for managing a network of several contact centers and overthousands of agents around the globe. Our agents represent Expedia’s person-to-person contact with our travelers, and we strive to deliver world-class customer service with every interaction. The Global Reporting and Analytics team within GCO is accountable for building a suite of robust reports and analyses that many stakeholders – from specialists to executives – consume on a regular basis. We are looking for intelligent, ambitious, passionate self-starters to join the team. The Reporting and Analytics Senior Business Analyst will serve as the primary liaison between R&A and the GCO Project Management team. Responsibilities for this role will be diverse from the start, and will rapidly accelerate along with the individual’s demonstrated capacity to handle greater challenges. Responsibilities include: • Delivering accurate and impactful analyses based on solid understanding of data sources and business needs, including economic, financial, and statistical analysis • Developing analytical models to estimate the impact of different scenarios • Fulfilling ad-hoc requests for related data and analysis • Proactively communicating factors affecting performance to senior management • Defining complex SQL and other data extraction schemes to gather and filter needed data • Preparing presentations for internal meetings and for senior leadership • Fostering a culture of continuous improvement with a focus on providing solutions and delivering results • </td>
