We are looking for a qualified, self-motivated individual with strong communication and collaboration skills and general knowledge and experience of the key disciplines within equity compensation which include accounting, corporate and securities law, taxation, and database administration for a global company. The analyst will communicate regularly with our human resource, legal and accounting personnel as well as employee customers in facilitating equity grants, trades and ad hoc questions that arise.<BR><BR>Responsibilities:<BR><BR><BR>* Experience with Global Plans including ESPP, RSUs, Options, Warrants and SARs.<BR><BR>* Develops reports and coordinates information flow a globally mobile workforce with vendors and internal departments.<BR><BR>* Communicates option and purchase plan information as needed to eligible employees partners and other parties.<BR><BR>* Creates and updates procedures manuals and stock plan brochures. Identifies opportunities to improve administration.<BR><BR>* Coordinates with other departments and/or vendors to provide information, resolve issues and address unique problems.<BR><BR>* Responds to questions and requests related to stock plans.<BR><BR>* Executes special projects, including annual and periodic equity grants, stock investment plan statements, software upgrades and training with MSSB Sapphire System. <BR><BR>* Works closely with brokers and vendors to ensure quality stock plan services to Expedia employees. <BR><BR>* Investigates and troubleshoots when problems occur, and ensures that service levels are maintained.<BR><BR><BR>Qualifications:<BR><BR><BR>* Experience with Global Plans including ESPP, RSUs, Options, Warrants and SARs.<BR><BR>* Strong interpersonal skills<BR><BR>* Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing<BR><BR>* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills<BR><BR>* Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment<BR><BR>* Attention to detail<BR><BR>* Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel<BR><BR>* Strong knowledge of related systems and technologies<BR><BR>* Certified Equity Professional (CEP) credentials preferred <BR><BR>* Stock plan administration and communication (3-5 years) at a multinational company.<BR><BR>* 4 year degree<BR><BR><BR>About Expedia, Inc.<BR><BR>Our mission is to revolutionize travel through the power of technology.<BR><BR>Collectively, the Expedia, Inc. brands cover virtually every aspect of researching, planning, and booking travel, from choosing the best airplane seat, to reading personal travel reviews of hotels, to planning what to do in a destination once you arrive.
