<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">An Electronics company in Bellevue, WA has an opening for a Service Technician (1 full-time and 1 Part-time Temp). <BR><BR><b>JOB DESCRIPTION: </b><BR>Primary role as the Service Technician will be diagnose and repair oceanographic instruments. Will use required forms (Service Request form) and Service database to evaluate equipment needing repairs. Performs visual inspection to check for damage to the equipment. Will diagnosis and trouble shoot equipment to determine the level of service and repairs required and perform advance electronic trouble shooting. Process repairs required and performed will be put into the Access database. While performing the duties of the position, there may be exposure or subject to moving mechanical parts, electrical currents, vibrations, fumes, odors, dusts, gases, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures, and work space restrictions. Will complete and deliver the final report to the Customer Service Supervisor or leads. Will perform other tasks as assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions o f the position.<BR><BR><b>JOB REQUIREMENTS: </b> <BR>~ High School diploma or GED.<BR>~ Minimum of 2 years experience with high mechanical aptitude.<BR>~ Thorough knowledge of electronic theory, soldering, power supplies, digital multimeters, and oscilloscopes.<BR>~ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.<BR>~ Ability to lift, carry, push or pull 30 pounds on a continual basis, up to 50 pounds occasionally.<BR>~ Performs equipment repairs to include soldering, wiring, and replacing inoperative electrical/mechanical parts.<BR>~ Verifies repairs, by performing salt water bath tests.<BR>~ Reconfigures instruments to customer requirements and changes batteries as needed.<BR>~ Vision abilities required due to the nature of the position include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision; depth perception and ability to adjust focus.<BR>~ Ability to reach with hands and arms, sit or stand continuously, use hands and fingers to feel and operate equipment, walk, climb, balance, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl, squat, turn/twist, communicate, hear, and smell.<BR>~ Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow Safety Procedures and Policies set to OSHA standards.<BR>~ Analytical and quantitative skills, able to work independently or as part of a small group to resolve urgent issues, process orientated with high attention to detail, and triage a problem quickly providing precise/clear information while working under minimum supervision.<BR>~ Good customer service skills and ability to interact well with internal and external customers.<BR>~ Must be reliable and have a strong work ethic, able to prioritize projects and meet critical deadlines.<BR><BR><b>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :</b> <BR>~ Associate's degree or certified training from a recognized institution.<BR>~ Honorably discharged veterans, widow/widowers, or spouses of honorably discharged veterans who have service connected permanent and total disability are encouraged to apply.<BR><BR><b>HOURS/DAYS/SCHEDULE: </b><BR>Full time - Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. Schedule will be discussed at time of interview. Ability to work overtime to meet organizational needs as required.<BR><BR><b>SALARY/WAGE/BENEFITS: </b><BR>Wages for this position are $15.00 - $17.00 based on experience.
