That''s why we''re here.<BR><BR>Sr. Analyst, Demand PlanningDescription:This job contributes to T-Mobile''s success by leading the development of an item/location level demand forecast for specific domestic channels or product categories, which drive the planning processes that support attainment of sales forecasts and established customer service objectives. Actions for success include applying knowledge of databases and data analysis to monitor and streamline the demand planning process, working with forecasting tools to build and maintain demand forecasts, collecting and analyzing empirical performance data and creating a forward looking outlook that identifies variance between demand forecast and sales forecast, and leading reconciliation with internal/external planning partners. Models and acts in accordance with T-Mobile''s values.Essential Functions:Develops and Implements reporting and decision support tools to enhance and streamline the demand forecasting process<BR>Extracts Raw Data from source systems including JDA, SQL Databases, Essbase Cubes to support ad hoc and recurrent reporting requirements<BR>Acts as a liaison to other organizations supporting demand planning reporting and data needs<BR>Develops requirements for improvements to and extensions of Demand Planning data repositories and planning tools<BR>Maintains and validates data and parameters supporting the forecasting process<BR>Creates, Reviews and Maintains location and national level forecasts for handsets and accessories<BR>Collaborates with business partners to identify and resolve discrepancies between forward looking sales forecasts and demand forecasts<BR>Measures variance between demand forecast and customer demand, analyzes cause and effect, recommends corrective action, and publishes results<BR>Analyzes performance and trends, identifies opportunities and risks, and proactively communicates to cross-functional teams<BR>Ensures demand forecast is shared/received in the format, level of detail, and timing required by all customers and supply chain partners with documented assumptions<BR><BR>!*!Qualifications:Ability to develop project plans and lead data intensive projects<BR>Experience developing reports and analysis using SQL and other programming languages<BR>Advanced ability with MS Excel<BR>Demonstrates a basic system knowledge and application of demand forecasting tools. Experience with JDA Demand or Manugistics preferred<BR>Ability to clearly communicate results of analysis both verbally and in written form<BR>Abilit </font></td>
