That''s why we''re here.<BR><BR>Position Purpose<BR>As a Sr. Data Architect you''ll work as a part of the Enterprise Systems team, specifically the BI Architecture team. This position should have expert level understanding of data architecture standards, practice, as well as ETL development methodologies. The ideal candidate of this position should have performed as data warehousing development lead in the past and lead in business intelligence project delivery on Teradata platform using Informatica as ETL tool, Business Objects as reporting tool, and SAS as analytics tool. The candidate should also have experience in Teradata systems architecture and familiar with its physical implementation, as well as various loading methods and data quality and error and auditing processing techniques. This role is for a business intelligence solution expert that understands data relationships and how those are practically applied to information delivery and business analytics.<BR><BR>Sr. Data Architect provides leadership within the Information Management team and is responsible for regular communications with the Data Analysts, Developers, QA testers, Enterprise Architecture team, and support groups. Sr. Data Architect also provide architectural solutions in various business intelligence projects and ensure that the business requirements can be satisfied by the most efficient and effective architectural solutions.<BR><BR>As a senior data warehouse resource and subject matter expert, this team member need to work closely with the requirements teams, business groups, and other ETL and data modeling team members. This person will be a key leader in the area of data warehouse design Implement the overall data architecture strategy, development standards and templates, and enforce the go-forward strategy of no database development on existing IR databases.<BR><BR>Primary Duties and Responsibilities:<BR>* Work with the front-end reporting/requirements gathering team to produce adequate requirements documentation including Use Cases, DDS and conceptual/business data model.<BR>* Build on existing data model for integration layer- landing flat tables - non-relational.<BR>* Build on existing data model - normalized area for storage of data and retaining data integrity and deltas.<BR>* Build on existing data model for denormalized and aggregated layer as-needed for high-performance reporting.<BR>* Model all data subjects assigned.
