               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Sr. Content Strategist - Social & UGC<BR><BR><BR>Job ID #: 22158<BR>Company: Expedia, Inc.<BR>Location: USA - WA - Bellevue<BR>Functional Area: Technology<BR>Employment Type: Full-Time Regular<BR>Education Required: Not Indicated<BR>Experience Required: Not Indicated<BR>Relocation Provided: To be determined<BR><BR><BR><BR><BR><BR><BR>Position Description<BR><BR>POSITION LOCATION: Bellevue, WA OR San Francisco, CA<BR><BR>****Please include a link to work that illustrates experience across a range of content types: user interfaces, CTAs, FAQs, direct or transactional emails, style guides or product launch content.****<BR><BR><BR>Senior Content Strategist - Social and UGC<BR><BR>Is content more to you than just words or pictures on a page?<BR><BR>Do you geek out thinking about ways to erase (or at least blur) the line between content and design? <BR><BR>Are you a true believer in social media and wish UGC stood for Utilize Great Content? <BR><BR>Do you want to be a creative force behind some of the web&rsquo;s most innovative products?<BR><BR>If so, then Expedia, the world&rsquo;s largest travel company, wants to talk to you about joining our Global Product UX Design team (Seattle-Bellevue/San Francisco).<BR><BR>RESPONSIBILITIES<BR><BR><BR>* Work collaboratively within an agile product team made up of product managers, engineers, and fellow UXers to build smart, relevant and socially connected experiences<BR><BR>* Create and curate original, licensed, and user-generated content (text, image, map, video) for a range of optimizations and new features <BR><BR>* Use a combination of data/gap analysis, user research and benchmarking to drive content and testing strategies<BR><BR>* Develop and communicate use cases, states and detailed content specifications via content matrices, style guides and messaging strategies working within layout comps or lo-fi prototypes<BR><BR>* Assure project content meets standards of quality, measured in terms of usability, intuitiveness, persuasion, consistency, delightfulness, business metrics, and time to market<BR><BR><BR>REQUIREMENTS:<BR><BR>To be a successful Senior Content Strategist, it is a given that you are good with words, love images and have a knack for aligning information, but you must also be a process-oriented systems thinker with an understanding of content organization and the art of persuasion, marketing and messaging.<BR><BR><BR>* 7+ years experience creating web content for a large-scale consumer-facing website along with 3+ years managerial experience with direct reports/contracted talent<BR><BR>* Strong technical literacy in Word, HTML, xml, Excel, PowerPoint as well as content management systems, mobile apps, APIs and algorithms<BR><BR>* Strong foundation in SEO, branding/marketing, voice and tone, localization, global content distribution<BR><BR>* Experience designing and implementing strategic Social/UGC initiatives for multiple products under tight deadlines<BR><BR>* In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google +, LinkedIn, Flickr, Pinterest, etc.) <BR><BR>* Great eye for design (UI, color, typography) and how to lever                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       </font></td>
