The Team is responsible for the accounting, revenue assurance, analysis and reporting of Expedia?s worldwide revenue streams arising from (1) Direct Agency lodging transactions, (2) air, car, cruise and tour transactions, (3) advertising activities, (4) supplier and GDS contract accounting,<BR>This position contributes to the management and integration of enterprise technology initiatives that impact the ARA Team.<BR>Scope:<BR>Expedia World Wide, Hotels World Wide, EAN, Egencia NA<BR>Products encompassing approximately 50% of EI Gross Bookings<BR>Interacts with Expedia technology teams, business owners, finance and accounting.<BR>Responsibilities:<BR>? ARA's representative on the technology project team; Monitor progress of technology initiatives and liaison between technology teams and accounting team.<BR>? Lead accounting stakeholders in assessing the impacts of enterprise technology initiatives on accounting systems & processes<BR>? Develop detailed business requirements by partnering with accounting stakeholders to analyze existing functionality and identify opportunities for enhancements.<BR>? Create and maintain project plans, timelines, tasks assignments and issues lists. Effectively communicate status and risks to accounting stakeholders and management.<BR>? Facilitate project meetings which result in issue resolution. Document and communicate conclusions.<BR>? Prepare flow charts, system diagrams and other documentation to facilitate a common understanding of existing systems as well as impact of new technology.<BR>? Coordinate and evaluate results of user acceptance testing. Ensure that exceptions are satisfactorily resolved.<BR><BR>Qualifications:<BR>? Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems or related field required.<BR>? Minimum 5 years experience in a technology company in project management, business analysis or system analysis role<BR>? Working knowledge of Accounting/Finance systems and operations preferred<BR>? Working knowledge of technology development processes<BR>? Exemplary and demonstrated organizational skills <BR>? Very good communication skills.
