That''s why we''re here.Sr Manager, FinanceThe position reports to the Director of Dealer Financial Services. The team is made up of two functional support areas which include:Reporting & Analytics- the team prepares a monthly financial package that provides a snapshot to a cross functional group of leaders & senior leaders as to the financial health of the RPS A/R. The team also provides ad hoc reporting & analytic services as needed. Additionally, the team works on various companywide projects and performs deep dives on a broad variety of financial matters related to the businesses DFS supports; they provide insights and recommendations that have an impact on DFS'' goals, Financial Operations Objectives and/or Enterprise initiatives.Development & Data Strategy- two key items here; 1) Development support is critical to the department''s ongoing success due to the nature and pace of T-Mobile''s business. The development team owns the responsibility for managing all internally developed applications and database tools as well as, 2) the development of DFS'' DataMart (BI) and the data quality.<BR>The team is also engaged with improvements in processes, develops reporting DB''s & repositories, and collaborates within Financial Operations for support and assistance in completing initiatives. In addition to the oversight of the core responsibilities listed above, this role is expected to provide thought leadership and assist with setting department strategy.Job Duties and Responsibilities:<BR>* Provide oversight, coaching and guidance to the analytic resources and development team, ensure DB''s are maintained and running in support of the operations.<BR>* Ensure right prioritization of work for dev resources; balancing maximum up time for all existing operations DB''s and delivery of new tools to meet project timelines.<BR>* Participate in management & team meeting, department maintenance.<BR>* Lead analytics team on new initiatives; provide concepts and modeling assistance as needed.<BR>* Ensure data quality across multiple data sources used by the team.<BR>* Cross functional networking with key leaders in Sales Operations, Sales and Channel Management<BR>* Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.LEADERSHIP - ARE YOU A LEADER COACH?As a Sr. Manager you are focused on strategy and planning while developing and guiding your team.
