With minimal supervision, the position will have major interaction with all business units. This position must possess significant work experience in a mission-critical, revenue-driven, 24x7 environment. They must be proficient in achieving superior results in a matrixed and virtual reporting structure within a collaborative and aggressive culture under sometimes ambiguous requirements. The position reports to the Director, Business Resiliency within Global Customer Operations, whose mission is to drive Business Continuity (BC), Crisis Management (CM), aspects of Emergency Response (ER) and related efforts across the global enterprise.<BR><BR>Responsibilities:<BR>Take accountability for driving completion and currency of the Global Customer Operations Resiliency plan, working with business leads to maintain and refresh departmental emergency playbooks, conduct ongoing training and awareness for GCO managers and staff to ensure role clarity during emergencies or business-impacting situations, and ensure that operational responses are carried out in exercises or actual events<BR>Support development, implementation and maintenance of resiliency/continuity strategies in various Expedia locations globally, from Business Impact Analysis and Requirements Gathering through Implementation and Planning through Rollout and Exercise<BR>Manage the Resiliency SharePoint sites and tools/enablers, ensuring integrity and developing and enhancing features using Microsoft © SharePoint and other tools. Take an ownership role in managing the data collected for Business Impact Analysis, Exercises and other efforts using Microsoft © InfoPath, Access and other tools, otherwise providing technical support to the effort<BR>Perform research and contribute to best practice development<BR>Support the development and delivery of educational and awareness material and other program collateral<BR>Other related duties as appropriate, with responsibilities growing over time<BR><BR>Qualifications:<BR>Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business or equivalent work experience<BR>Management consulting/Big Six experience desired but not required<BR>Industry certification such as CBCP or equivalent or PMP desired; working knowledge of Business Continuity Planning (BCP) practices and trends desired (strong interest in developing BCP domain skills required if not already possessed). Proven advanced grasp of methodologies and standards like BS22301, PS-PREP a plus<BR>Exceptionally strong </font></td>
