Then the Enterprise Data Warehouse team is looking for YOU! This TPM role will be laying the ground work to support the content for LPS group.<BR><BR>Position Overview:<BR><BR>As a Technical Product Manager in the Enterprise Data Warehouse group at Expedia you will be part of the team that is responsible for the business definition, functional definition, and delivery of the next generation Enterprise Data Warehouse and business intelligence infrastructure at Expedia, Inc.<BR><BR><BR><BR>Responsibilities:<BR><BR>&bull; Lead a team to support the design, analysis, and development efforts for multiple Data Warehouse & Business Intelligence projects to solve complex business problems.<BR><BR>&bull; Work closely with product planning and business stakeholders to help define the strategy to best meet our customer&rsquo;s needs while managing scalability, reliability, and performance of the systems.<BR><BR>&bull; Close collaboration with business owners to transform high-level specifications into best-of-breed applications.<BR><BR>&bull; Provide functional specification documentation project plans and other associated project documentation.<BR><BR>&bull; Effectively manage trade-offs between cost/schedule and customer benefits.<BR><BR>&bull; Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritize workload effectively, and thrive in a dynamic environment.<BR><BR>&bull; Collaborate with Developers, Program Managers, Testers, Analysts, Architects and Production Support Analysts to implement successful solutions.<BR><BR>Deep dive on data analysis or technical issues to come up with effective solutions.<BR><BR><BR><BR>Work Experience and Education Guidelines:<BR><BR>&bull; 3-5 years of project/program management experience in a technical environment leading teams through the entire software development lifecycle.<BR><BR>&bull; Project/program management experience in Data Warehouse & Business Intelligence system implementations preferred.<BR><BR>&bull; Working knowledge of data warehouse technologies and principles preferred including architecture, design, data acquisition, data delivery methodologies, and performance optimization.<BR><BR>&bull; Knowledge of SQL is essential.<BR><BR>&bull; Experience with Business Objects, DB2, VLDBS, RDBMS and Hadoop in an Internet/e-Commerce industry environment is desired.<BR><BR>&bull; A BA/BS degree in a technical field or related discipline is required.<BR><BR>&bull; Familiarity with various SDLC and agile models and development methodologies.<BR><BR>&bull; Ability to creatively solve challenging business/technology problems.<BR><BR>&bull; Excellent organizational, communication, and technical skills.<BR><BR>&bull; Ability to learn quickly, master our existing systems and identify opportunities for improvement.<BR><BR>&bu                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   </font></td>
