<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">LocationBellevue, WA<BR>Security Clearance Required?No Security Clearance Requiredabout security clearance definitions<BR>Position Description<BR>Position Description: Boeing Information Technology is seeking a talented and passionate User Experience (UX) Specialist to join an energetic team engaged in all aspects of the user-centered design process - designing and conducting user research, translating user requirements into elegant, intuitive designs/prototypes, conducting usability evaluations and recommending design changes based on results. We support all of Boeing IT''s products, including the systems used to run Boeing''s business, manage its supply chain, and design, manufacture and sell its commercial jets and defense and space products. As a member of our team, you''ll be able to make a real difference by helping to improve the user experience and productivity of Boeing''s hundreds of thousands of employees, customers and suppliers.<BR><BR>On a typical day, you might collaborate with project teams and assist other UX Specialists in conducting interviews and observing manufacturing technicians working on the 787 factory floor, or translating research on sales personnel into effective, usable and engaging interaction designs for the key IT systems they use to help Boeing''s airline customers analyze fleet/route scenarios. You might use our lab in Bellevue, Washington, to participate in conducting usability tests with local users, or users across the country or around the globe. You''ll actively involve users throughout all phases of your project to ensure product usability. And you''ll be part of a driving force to facilitate change, working collaboratively with other UX Specialists, developers and product and project managers, helping to relate compelling stories about users and effectively communicating your interaction design ideas and test results. In addition, you may have the opportunity to help develop strategies, standards, processes and services to be used across the enterprise, or to assist in evangelizing and sharing information with others in our growing community of practice.<BR><BR>As a new member of the team, you''ll be paired with a mentor who will help answer questions and introduce you to the vast array of resources available to you. Your mentor will work with you to understand your strengths, the skills you want to improve and your areas of interest, and will work to help you find assignments in those areas.
