<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;"><b>JOB DESCRIPTION:</b> <BR>Whatcom County home for developmentally disabled adults needs a part-time Animal Caretaker / Handyperson to feed and care for animals, clean animal yards, mend fences, garden, and perform building maintenance and landscaping.<BR><BR>Additional duties include driving clients on errands and some back-up housekeeping chores. <BR><BR>The ideal candidate will be reliable, hardworking, honest, patient, strong, and friendly; have a pleasant personality, a great sense of humor, and take pride in workmanship. <BR><BR><b>JOB REQUIREMENTS:</b> <BR>- High school diploma or GED equivalent<BR>- 2 years maintenance/animal care experience or equivalent<BR>- Valid driving license for purpose of driving clients<BR>- Ability to present a clean driving abstract at an employer interview<BR>- Pass drug test upon conditional offer of employment<BR>- Pass a criminal background check spanning the past ten years related to the job duties<BR><BR><b>HOURS / DAYS / SCHEDULE:</b> <BR>- 8 to 12 hours per week<BR><BR><b>SALARY / WAGE / BENEFITS:</b> <BR>- $10 per hour<BR><BR><b>CLOSING DATE:</b><BR>- Closes at 4 p.m. on November 8, 2012 or at business request<BR><BR><b>HOW TO APPLY</b><BR>To request a referral come to WorkSource Whatcom or the nearest WorkSource Center.<BR><BR>Please bring the job order number and a resume identifying how you meet the required qualifications.<BR><BR>- WorkSource staff <b>MUST</b> refer to the Special Instructions to determine the referral process<BR><BR>- Materials are accepted Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.</font></td>
