With over 40,000 pieces of state-of-the-art equipment, Birch works directly with manufacturers regarding maintenance, training and equipment design. Headquartered in Washington and Alaska, Birch Equipment provides daily to seasonally services to Alaska, Washington, Montana and Oregon.</b><BR><BR><b>Major Areas of Responsibility:</b><BR>Birch Equipment’s Mechanics are responsible for keeping the fleet of 40,000 pieces of equipment & tools running safely and effectively throughout construction, manufacturing and home-improvement season, as well as pro-actively maintaining equipment year-round.<BR><BR><b>Position Requirements:</b><BR>•Works in compliance with Birch Equipment’s operational and safety procedures <BR>•Troubleshoot, maintain & repair Hydraulics, Electrical, Air, Engines <BR>and Drivetrain Systems <BR>•Must have computer skills & able to utilize industry specific software <BR>•Able to read, document & communicate equipment maintenance history<BR>•Ability to read & use a multi-meter <BR>•A motivated self-starter <BR>•Able to provide own tools <BR>•Willing to work in the elements year-round <BR><BR><b>Benefits include:</b><BR>Competitive salary, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K.
