<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;"><b>Seeking Inside Sales Representatives in an established locally owned rental company. Birch Equipment is currently ranked the 88th largest rental company in the United States and is one of the largest locally owned rental companies in the region. With over 40,000 pieces of the newest state-of-the-art equipment, Birch works directly with manufacturers regarding maintenance, training and equipment design. Headquartered in Washington and Alaska, Birch Equipment provides daily to seasonally services to Alaska, Washington, Montana and Oregon.</b> <BR><BR><b>Nature of Position:</b><BR>Provide outstanding customer service in a polite, friendly and professional manner. Renting and scheduling of tools & equipment, answering phones and greeting customers in a fast-paced, dynamic industry. Assist customers with reservations, contracts, payment transactions, questions and the loading / unloading of tools & equipment. Proactively increase customer base by following up on leads & dormant accounts. This position reports directly to the Store Manager or Assistant Manager.<BR><BR><b>Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</b><BR>Maximize Company Rentals and Sales:<BR>•Reserve items requested, maintain rental reservations, prepare rental forms, contracts, and obtain customer signatures and other information as required. <BR>•Confirm delivery reservations that are scheduled for following day <BR>•Update & maintain records including Day at a Glance screen, daily contract file, lost rent / retail reports, fuel log, yard report, and inventory. Complete work orders. Update and call the following daily: short cash, delinquent contracts, and overdue charge accounts. Maintain all documentation and update contracts. Resolve any discrepancies.<BR>•Accept delivery & in-store returns, and place in appropriate area for inspection by yard representatives<BR>•Collect prepayments and payments on closed contracts via credit card, check or cash. <BR>•Prepare merchandise and equipment with company labels and price tags.<BR>•Inventory retail sales merchandise, checking stock levels. Contact other Birch stores for overstock before alerting supervisor of low level of merchandise.<BR><BR><b>Customer/Education</b><BR>•Recommend retail and rental equipment to customers that best fits their needs. <BR>•Explain rental fees, fuel costs, and 24 hour service. Provide information about rented items, such as operation and safety features of the equipment. <BR>•Knowledge and distribution of monthly marketing package.<BR>•Attend morning store focus, store and safety meetings. Complete and pass competency, verbal and written test after 90 days, and every 6 months there after. <BR>•Maximize training opportunities provided by the company & ensure training log is 100% completed. Take advantage of the company training calendar available on the intranet for weekly, monthly, quarterly & annual equipment and systems training classes.<BR><BR><b>General</b><BR>•Assist other Birch stores ensuring that all transfers are handled quickly, correctly and efficiently.<BR>•Cross train company wide <BR><BR><b>Benefits include:</b><BR>Competitive salary, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K.
