               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;"><b>JOB DESCRIPTION:</b> <BR>Bellingham veterinary hospital is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to work with small animals.<BR><BR>Duties include assisting with veterinary medical procedures:  administering medication, diagnostic work, blood work, anesthesia procedures, emergency procedures, surgical preparation/assistance, dental prophylaxis, IV catheter placement/care, sample collection/handling, clerical work, and hospital maintenance<BR><BR><b>JOB REQUIREMENTS:</b> <BR>- Veterinary Technician License<BR>- Experience working with small animals<BR>- Skilled in the use of MS Word<BR><BR><b>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</b> <BR>- Animal Health Technologist and/or Registered Veterinary Technician degrees preferred, equivalent experience considered<BR><BR><b>HOURS / DAYS / SCHEDULE:</b> <BR>- 32 to 40 hours per week<BR>- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 9:30 am to 6:30 pm, and every other Saturday 8 am to closing (varies)<BR><BR><b>SALARY / WAGE / BENEFITS:</b> <BR>- $11 to $14 per hour, DOE - plus quarterly bonus<BR>- Medical and paid sick leave after 90 days,  paid vacation after one year<BR><BR><b>CLOSING DATE:</b><BR>Closes 4 p.m. November 15, 2012 or at employer request<BR><BR><b>HOW TO APPLY</b><BR>- You must request a referral in person at WorkSource<BR>- Bring the job order number, a cover letter, and resume identifying how you meet the required qualifications<BR><BR>- Materials are accepted Mondays through Fridays, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.<BR><BR>- WorkSource staff <b>MUST</b> refer to the Special Instructions to determine the referral process.<BR></font></td>
