<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Hollander Investments, Inc. is seeking a part time maintenance assistant to service the Brampton Court Apartments.<BR> <BR>JOB SUMMARY <BR>Assists in the overall maintenance operations of the community while taking a proactive, hands on approach to the completion of all projects. <BR><BR>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:<BR> 1.Completes routine maintenance tasks including work orders, preventative maintenance and minor repairs as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor. <BR>2.Performs move out walk throughs in vacated units and completes move out checklist.<BR> 3.Assists with preparing vacated units for new tenants as directed including servicing applicances, plumbing and electrical fixtures; repairing or replacing old or faulty fixtures and applicances; replacing burned out light bulbs, caulking, spackling, painting and cleaning as needed. <BR>4.Cleans and maintains pool. Monitors and maintains proper chemical balance of pool water, updates pool logs and records. <BR>5.Assists Apartment Manager with day to day operational needs.<BR> 6.Sweeps parking lots, cleans stairs and landings, picks up trash and dog waste from grounds, cleans areas around dumpsters and ensures that overflow trash is evenly distributed between dumpsters prior to pick up.<BR> 7.Prepares written work orders, repair logs and reports in accordance with Company policies and procedures. <BR>8.Stocks pet station supplies.<BR> 9.Spreads salt on public passageways to prevent ice buildup and shovels snow as needed.<BR> 10.Completes projects and assigned tasks on time and works with a sense of urgency. <BR>11.Maintains a professional, helpful and considerate relationship with current and prospective tenants and co-workers. <BR><BR>QUALIFICATIONS:<BR> Knowledge of:<BR> •Familiarity with basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry. <BR>Skills and Ability to:<BR> •Strong attention to detail and follow through<BR> •Effectively manage time in order to meet productivity standards<BR> •Effectively communicate in a professional manner<BR> •Meet attendance requirements with dependability and consistency<BR> •Physical strength and manual dexterity to operate necessary tools and equipment and perform required duties<BR> <BR>Education and Experience<BR> •High school diploma required; trade school certification or equivilant combination of education and experience preferred.<BR> •Previous experience with tools and equipment needed for apartment make-ready duties preferred. <BR><BR>License<BR> •Must posess or be able to obtain a valid WA state driver's licence and maintain clean driving record. <BR><BR>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:<BR> Heavy work: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. <BR><BR>Must be able to stand, bend, climb, balance, lift, carry, crouch and kneel as required by job. <BR><BR><BR>PLEASE APPLY IN PERSON LOCATED AT:<BR> <BR>1470 Birchwood Ave<BR> Bellingham WA 98225<BR> <BR><BR>Drug Free Workplace, Equal Opportunity Employer<BR> <BR>Hollander Investments, Inc., based in Bellingham, WA for almost 40 years, develops and manages a unique mix of hotels, leased office space, and multi-family housing with 400 employees in Washington and Oregon.
