               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;"><b>JOB DESCRIPTION:</b> <BR>Nursing care facility is looking for a Social Service Director to organize, assess, and maintain a social service program to meet the individual needs of the residents.<BR><BR>Additional duties include preadmission services, identify needs and coordinate services; develop, coordinate, and reassess individual social service plans, assist residents to locate and use community resources; provide individual, group and family services, offer education and resource support to staff, and coordinate safe discharge planning and followA?up services.<BR><BR>The ideal candidate will have effective communication skills; exercise common sense, patience, tact and good listening skills, and work well under pressure.<BR><BR><b>JOB REQUIREMENTS:</b><BR>- Bachelor's degree in social work<BR>- Two years experience in long-term care or related programs<BR>- Demonstrate the ability to lift 25 pounds on a consistent basis<BR>- Demonstrate the ability to attend to a work station for two hours<BR>- Demonstrate the ability to stoop, climb stairs, lift/reach overhead<BR><BR><b>HOURS/DAY/SCHEDULE:</b><BR>- 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday<BR><BR><b>SALARY/WAGE/BENEFITS:</b><BR>- $15 to $18 per hour, DOE <BR>- Medical, dental, vision insurance, 401k, paid holidays, vacation, sick leave, education assistance, and life insurance available after 30 days<BR><BR><b>CLOSING  DATE:</b><BR>- Closes at 4 p.m. on November 15, 2012 or at business request<BR><BR><b>HOW TO APPLY:</b><BR>To request a referral come to WorkSource Whatcom or the nearest WorkSource Center:<BR><BR>Please bring the job order number, a cover letter, a resume, and two work references identifying how you meet the required qualifications.<BR><BR>- WorkSource staff <b>MUST</b> refer to the Special Instructions to determine the referral process<BR><BR>- Materials are accepted Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.</font></td>
