               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Computer/Network Support Technician<BR>Posted on:09/14/12<BR> <BR><BR><BR>Job Number:<BR>300280-8981-12-309035<BR><BR><BR>&#160; Add to Cart<BR>&#160; Email to a Friend<BR>Location:<BR>Bingen, WA<BR><BR>Description:<BR><BR>Computer/Network Support Technician<BR>MS Windows XP/7 (Workstation), MS Server 2008 (Server Platform)<BR>Network Troubleshooting, Printer Services<BR>Phone System/Cell Phone Management<BR>Volt Technical Resourceshas a long-term Computer/Network Support Technician position available with one of our major Clients located very close to Hood River, OR.<BR>Position Description:<BR>This is a mid-level position for the purpose of:<BR>* Providing technical assistance.<BR>* Investigating and resolving computer software and hardware issues.<BR>* Installing, troubleshooting and maintaining PCs, printers, software and peripheral devices.<BR>* Performing routine hardware/software adds, moves and changes.<BR>* Working with Management to meet all communications requirements based upon future needs and current usage, configuring such solutions to optimize cost savings.<BR>Primary Duties and Responsibilities:<BR>* Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, printers and peripheral equipment.<BR>* Prepare and/or ensure that appropriate network documentation exists, including operational instructions.<BR>* Provide regular monitoring and network analysis regarding short-range and long-range planning for in-house systems.<BR>* Maintain PCs to Company standards.<BR>* Prepare new systems for users.<BR>* Move and set-up systems in conjunction with personnel moves.<BR>* Perform other duties, as required.<BR>This is an estimated one-year PLUS contingent / temporary position in Bingen, WA, throughVolt Technical Resources, located in Portland, OR.
