Insitu leads in the design, development and production of small autonomous aircraft for Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), including advanced integrated command, control, and video tools for Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR). We currently produce and sell an ever growing fleet of Unmanned Aircraft Systems that are low-cost, long-endurance, and have low personnel requirements. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Performs the design, layout, testing, and evaluation of mechanical and electro-mechanical products and systems • Performs product development activities, including drawing board layout and interpretation, implementation of customer specifications, and documentation requirements • Utilizes computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks • Conducts engineering studies • Performs risk assessments and generates risk mitigation plans and strategies • May specialize in specific field of mechanical engineering, such as hydraulics, electromechanical, controls and instrumentation, robotics, tooling, etc...; or in type of product, such as propulsion systems or mechanical equipment • May select and supervise the work of subcontractors / vendors to the organization Knowledge - Skills & Abilities Required: Mechanical engineering skills including manufacturablity from concept, testing to production - Knowledge of ASME/GD&T standards - Knowledge of FMEA techniques and implementation - Leadership skills in </td>
