<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Title: Functional Analyst<BR>Location: null<BR>Other Locations: null<BR>Ciber Inc. is seeking an experienced Functional Analyst:<BR>* Assimilate the holistic view and detailed dissection of the business processes.<BR>* Collaborate with the business to define, analyze, and document requirements and recommend optimized solutions .<BR>* Interface with the end users to define and document requirements for data, reports, analysis, metadata, training, service levels, data quality, performance, and troubleshooting.<BR>* Perform system impact analysis, including upstream and downstream impacts, propose solutions, and build functional specifications.<BR>* Collaborate with data architects and BI developers to translate requirements into technical specifications.<BR>* Determine and validate potential data sources, build validation plans, assist with or build scripts, execute the scripts, and communicate results in non-production environment.<BR>* Plan, facilitate, and participate in working sessions with cross-functional resources.<BR>* Conduct peer reviews to solicit feedback on materials created .<BR>* Learn, understand, and use new technology and tools.<BR>* Mentor others on the team.<BR>* 6-8 years BI analysis experience.<BR>* Experience in writing SQL and a solid understanding of ETL development tools.<BR>* Experience in logical and physical database design and implementation.<BR>* Experience using data warehouse or analytic tools for business purposes.<BR>* Experience with ad-hoc query development (Crystal Reports, Business Objects, SAS, or other).<BR>* Experience developing reports using a reporting tool or through data extraction queries .<BR>* Thorough working knowledge of UML documentation of various business process and modeling to build Data Flow Diagrams, Process Models, ER diagrams, Dimensional Data Models, Context Models, Event Modeling, State Modeling, Process decomposition, and Use Case Scenarios.<BR>* Strong knowledge of the system development life cycle, and the ability to train others on SDLC concepts.<BR>* Excellent attention to detail, time management, work prioritization, multi-tasking, task estimation, an ability to produce on-time deliverables, delegate tasks, and follow up.<BR>* Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on an existing suite of complex applications.<BR>* Technical writing skills to produce clear and unambiguous deliverables.<BR>Ciber is a global IT consulting company with 7,000 consultants in North America, Europe and Asia/Pacific, and approximately $1 billion in annual revenue.
