Additionally, the position will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting financial information and management reporting.<BR><BR>Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business, or equivalent experience<BR>CPA, chartered or certified accountant status preferred; Experience implementing internal controls; Experience working in a manufacturing environment; Experience in public company; Foreign language skills a plus; Knowledge of Oracle Financials or related accounting software packages; Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; A thorough knowledge of general accounting principles and their application as well as a demonstrated ability to apply these in the business context; Understand the implications of changes to the company's financial statements and general ledger and the interrelationships of various accounting and reporting systems; Strong verbal and written communication skills; Ability to interact with various levels of management within and outside of finance, internal and external audit teams and participation in cross-functional projects is also a part of the job; Ability to collaborate cross-functionally on complex issues driving to timely resolutions, the ability to present, organize, and convey complex problems or issues within and across other functions, strong teamwork, organizational skills and ability to drive results in a timely manner; Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy is required; Ability to proactively identify issues and offer solutions; Ability to excel in a team oriented environment with minimal supervision.<BR><BR>SonoSite offers a fantastic compensation package, including full benefits, 401k and paid time off.
