That''s why we''re here.<BR><BR><BR>Position Purpose<BR><BR>Plans and manages the shift schedule and addresses tactical staffing issues, responsible for employees assigned to a specific work group and works with senior management to determine staffing acquisitions or reductions. Sets the pace, schedule, and prioritization for Operations daily process improvement projects and gathers all project status and escalates summaries and issues requiring assistance to the Senior Manager. Ensures and enforces proper escalations in the Production Environment. Handles personnel and conflict resolutions to ensure a cohesive environment, if Shift Lead cannot obtain resolution. Integral in setting proper policies and procedures regarding problem resolution and escalation, and communicates policies to Shift Leads. Communicates with other departments on issues in the Production Environment and work towards a proper resolution of such issues. Takes an active role in developing and maintaining stakeholder relationships. Authorizes acceptance of new monitoring processes into the production environment. Communicates new procedures to the operations staff. Responsible for performing skill assessments and setting goals with operators, shift leads, and operator analysts in support of the conduction of annual reviews. Escalate to the Senior Manager with any issues that are beyond their scope of duties.<BR><BR>Primary Duties and Responsibilities<BR>* Provide documentation relating to infrastructure system operation and process monitoring to all shifts.<BR>* Ensure that tools for system maintenance and monitoring meet Operations, management, and stakeholder needs.<BR>* Establish guidelines and process for escalation of issues.<BR>* Address issues related to process success or failure.<BR>* Responsible for shift and personnel performance.<BR>* When needed, assist all teams with equipment in the Data Center with hands on (smart hands) support.<BR>* Set pace and prioritization for projects supporting Operations daily process improvement.<BR>* Works with Manager to align projects with department direction.<BR>* Based upon department direction, sets prioritization and scope to projects performed by Operations Analyst group.<BR>* Receives regular progress status reports and communicates status summary and issues to manager.<BR>* Administer staff management needs.<BR>* Assist in interviewing process.<BR>* Develops employee skills improvement plans.
