<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Title: Mechanical Design Engineer 2<BR>Location: United States-Washington-Bothell<BR>Other Locations:<BR>Responsibilities include:<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><BR><BR>- Design and implementation of methodologies for manufacturability and to enhance product reliability<BR>- Capable of evaluating design margins, and reliability factors including tolerances, wear, materials strength and compatibility, and compounding effects such as environment and vibration<BR>- Use of product design and manufacturing knowledge to perform Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA).<BR>- Apply statistical techniques and models to analyze test data and estimate product life cycle performance.<BR>- Participate in MRB reviews to monitor product performance in the field and work closely with manufacturing partners and component vendors to perform failure analysis and drive corrective action.<BR>- Candidate will participate in component vendor selection activity and will be responsible for component qualification activity for components that are critical and strategic to Philips product requirements.<BR><BR><BR>Qualifications<BR> <BR>- BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering<BR>- Experience in qualifying design for manufacturability<BR>- Excellent mechanical aptitude with knowledge of Pro-E, Solid works, GD&T concepts<BR>- A self-starter, highly motivated with good organizational and time management skills<BR>- Desire to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges<BR>-Experience with document control systems (E-Matrix, Agile)<BR>- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interface with customers and effective at managing vendors<BR><BR>Philips is an equal opportunity Employer<BR>null </font></td>
