               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Title: Mechanical Design Engineer 3<BR>Location: United States-Washington-Bothell<BR>Other Locations:<BR>Directly contributes to the design of new Sonicare Products, expanding and improving this innovative oral healthcare product portfolio. This is a key innovation role responsible for the design of whole assemblies and appliances. Leads technical change efforts; acts as the primary technical design interface for complex product development issues. Provides Life Cycle Support (LCS); dispositions discrepant materials through MRB and administers design deviations on released products (with inputs from knowledgeable others in I & D). Creates TPD changes and engineering change orders.<BR><BR>Responsibilities:<BR>?Develops methodology to be used on projects; works on major product features of high complexity. <BR>?Identifies risks and determines how to approach and complete tasks. <BR>?Owns various sub-processes, drives and ensure compliance.<BR>?Sets project level goals. Develops design approach and makes plans as a subset of a larger plan, which has a long duration and includes several other work groups. Develops and prioritizes project goals and workload of technical team members to meet project objectives and deadlines. Suggests product features. <BR>?May serve as technical team leader; providing guidance to lower level engineers, delegating and verifying their implementation of product design elements.  Leads cross-functional technical project teams, interacting frequently with other engineering groups both inside and outside the company, as well as manufacturing suppliers.<BR>? Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires a review of identifiable factors. Applies advanced technology principles to multiple tasks. Exercises judgment, selects methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Expected to analyze project areas, define problem and develop novel technical solutions; instrumental in determining feasibility of concepts or projects. <BR>?Solicits and accepts ideas of others. Actively contributes to an environment of open communication within a team. <BR>?Follows technical documentation requirements and writes department procedures on various processes. <BR>?Gives effective presentations and may participate on customer presentation/review teams. <BR><BR>Requirements:<BR>?Bachelor?s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related disciple, with 5 to 7 years of progressive related product design experience or Master''s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline, with 3 to 5 years progressive related product design experience. <BR>?Previous work experience designing product for mass manufacturing.
