<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Senior Financial Analyst<BR>Tracking Code<BR>ACC-2012-01a<BR>Job Description<BR><BR>The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reporting. This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. This position addresses tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, year-end audit preparation, and the support of budget and forecast activities. The Senior Financial Analyst will have contact with Plant and Divisional Financial Management which requires strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal. This position is responsible for development, execution, and monitoring of accounting processes from posting to reporting.  This position reports to the Controller, but has a secondary responsibility to provide financial and accounting support all managers.  <BR>Primary Responsibilities<BR>* Serve as a financial resource to the Operations and Management team.<BR>* Assist team in identifying and implementing process improvements, cost saving initiatives, and lean manufacturing strategies that will increase earnings.<BR>* Proactive in compiling and analyzing financial information for the Business Units.<BR>* Assist team in classification and understanding of Fixed and SG&A Expenses.<BR>* Analyze and publish Daily P&L, Daily Flex, and PPV Reports.<BR>* Analyze and publish weekly P&L, Red/Green, and Staffing Reports.<BR>* Analyze and publish monthly Standard Margin and Sales Analysis.<BR>* Steward of the Capital Expenditure Process that includes performing CAR analysis of CIP Projects to ensure CAR amendments are approved in advance and CIP projects are closed timely.<BR>* Respond to inquiries from the controller, finance team, and company managers regarding financial results and special requests.<BR>* Ensure internal and external audits are thorough, timely, and in compliance with company and PCC and GAAP requirements.<BR>* Assist in development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance and simplify financial reporting.<BR>* Track Expense Projects.<BR>* Assist with month-end closing duties.<BR>* Perform quarterly SOX testing.<BR>* Serve as backup for closing completed work orders and rolling frozen standards.<BR>* Assist with Cycle Counting, physical inventories, and other special projects.<BR>* Report to the Controller.<BR>Required Skills<BR><BR>Technical Skills and prior experience<BR>* Strong understanding of GAAP and statutory accounting concepts and principles; background in strengthening the internal control environment<BR>* Experience in building / testing / auditing a SOX framework<BR>* High level of business acumen – needs to be a partner to the leadership team and a strategic thinker<BR>* Critical thinking with an ability to mitigate risk for the business while providing solutions to allow the business to move forward towards objectives<BR>* Pa </font></td>
