That''s why we''re here.<BR><BR>Primary Duties and Responsibilities:<BR>* Display strong inter-personal, verbal and written communication skills.<BR>* Display strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines with little or no supervision.<BR>* Look at bigger picture while designing and integrating architecture<BR>* Understand and apply advanced system/application administration, management and performance tuning techniques.<BR>* Direct resources in support of project and operational activities.<BR>* Provide 24 x 7 on call support as part of a scheduled rotation with other team members.<BR>* Function as technical liaison for Unix/NT related project activities.<BR>* Participate in design and project reviews, define standards, recommend and establish policies and procedures.<BR>* Configure and tune hardware and software to insure proper performanceSecondary Duties and Responsibilities:<BR>* Attend staff meetings and or other meetings as required.<BR>* Interact with vendors as required<BR>* Provide progress reports to direct line of management.<BR>* Provide advanced troubleshooting for applications and systems, determining cause and effect.<BR>* Provide team mentoring to fellow specialists, system programmers and others.<BR>* Evaluate hardware and software requirements and be able to justify purchase decisions.<BR><BR>!*!<BR>Functional/Technical Skills - Must Have:<BR>* 7 years windows or Unix server operating systems experience<BR>* 7 Years IT department experience in a technical role<BR>* 5 years Windows VBScript experience or 5 Years Shell/Perl Scripting<BR>* 2 years experience installing, configuring, supporting Enterprise Monitoring tools.<BR>* 2 years writing custom SQL queries against MS SQL Server and/or Oracle databases<BR>* 2 years practical experience with OMW, ITM, Wily, or BACFunctional/Technical Skills - Preferred:<BR>* IT Project Management skills and experience<BR>* Experience with the following:<BR>* OpenView suite including OVPM-OVPI<BR>* Business Service Management (BSM) - Omi<BR>* Service Health Reporter<BR>* Service Health Analyzer<BR>* Tivoli (ITM, TEP)<BR>* Business Availability Center (BAC)<BR>* NNM<BR>* SiteScope<BR>* Splunk<BR>* Wily<BR>* TeaLeaf<BR>* writing Oracle queries<BR>* Visual Basic scripting<BR>* Active Server Pages<BR>* Python/Perl/Shell scripting<BR>* SNMP/networking experience<BR>* Familiar with the following Operating Systems<BR>* Linux<BR>* AIX<BR>* HP-UX<BR>* Solaris<BR>* Win2k3 and above server OS<BR>* ITIL concepts<BR>* Demonstrated strong leadership, mentoring, and training abilityT-Mobile USA offers a full range of comprehensive benefits, including                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     </font></td>
