Candidate must have previous marine HVAC experience. Experience troubleshooting and/or repairing CHW solenoid valves, ventilation fan motors, and Gaylord Industries Grease Interceptor Hood wash down and fire safety systems is highly desirable. Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Confidential security clearance. Candidate must be able to travel domestically and internationally 180 - 270 days per year.<BR><BR>Performs shipboard inspections and repairs related to marine electrical and mechanical systems in a non-shipyard environment onboard naval or commercial vessel. May supervise and coordinate teams of various trades to accomplish a total project. Under minimal supervision, performs assignments that are not completely standardized or prescribed. Selects or adapts standard procedures or equipment. Performs recurring work independently. Constructs components, sub-units, or simple models or adapts standard equipment. Troubleshoots and correct malfunctions. Conducts various tests or experiments which may require minor modifications in test setups or procedures as well as subjective judgments in measurement; selects, set up, and operates standard test equipment and records test data. Extracts and compiles variety of engineering data from field notes, manuals, lab reports, etc.; processes data, identifies errors or inconsistencies; selects methods of data presentation. Develops information concerning previous operational failures and modifications to recognize inconsistencies or gaps in data and seeks sources to clarify information.<BR>Basic Qualifications High school or equivalent and appropriate Trade School or related Armed Forces school + 7 years related experience OR 10 years related experience. Requires 2 years supervisory experience and ability to communicate verbally and in writing with customer.<BR>Preferred Qualifications Ability to work in shipboard environment. Able to lift, carry and transport heavy equipment and boxes. The exact weight requirements will be determined by the specific job, but no less than 30 lbs. Able to work on and climb ladders, work in extreme temperature environments, shipboard, shipyards, under industrial conditions and in confined spaces. Able to perform other duties as required. May involve high heat, humidity, noise and dirty conditions, working aloft or over the sides of vessels, riding ships at sea for extended periods. May require the ability to work while wearing a respirator. Travel may be required within and outside of the continental United States.<BR>Company S </font></td>
