<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Housing Kitsap is seeking a General Ledger Accounting Technician. This is a full time position providing support to the accounting function of the agency. The primary duties of this position are to perform a series of reoccurring monthly journal entries, bank reconciliations and provide support for the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Specialists.<BR><BR>The ideal candidate will have two years of general ledger accounting or full-charge bookkeeping experience, preferably with a housing authority, local government or not for profit agency and preferably two years of business education including appropriate accounting courses. Must have experience and highly proficient in Microsoft software packages, including Excel, Word, Outlook, Great Plains Accounting, FRx Report Writer, and have ability to learn other software as needs arise.<BR><BR>We offer our employees a wide range of benefits including medical, dental, vision, life and short term disability. Under State Law, the Authority’s purpose is to provide housing assistance to low-income families and individuals.
