<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;"><b>Job Summary</b><BR>Responsible for the installation of electrical and mechanical components on SAFE Boats products. Installs outboard motors or inboard diesel engines and jet drives, along with associated cables and wiring. Installs fuel systems and filters. Fabricates and installs main and auxiliary wiring harnesses. Installs, interfaces and connects a variety of components such as lights, radios, radar, sonar, heating and air conditioning systems, auxiliary generators, GPS, chart plotters, etc.<BR><BR><b>Skills and Experience</b><BR>Intermediate to Advanced Electrical and Mechanical experience. Marine electrical and mechanical experience a plus. Thorough understanding of 12V electronics including crimping, soldering and basic troubleshooting using multimeter. Ability to layout, build and install subsystems from schematics, including development of parts list, ordering parts, assembling components and testing. Understanding of gasoline and/or diesel power plants including basic automotive mechanical skills. Familiar with general shop procedures and tools. <b>Familiarity with Mil-Spec and DOD electrical systems and components desirable. ABYC training preferred, certification a plus! </b>Very detail-oriented with excellent work ethic and effective interpersonal communications skills. <BR><BR>Physical Requirements<BR>Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. Position requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, kneeling, crawling, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
