               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;"><b>JOB DESCRIPTION</b><BR>Local employer seeking Sales Clerk to work in their Softlines  Department.  Sales Clerk will sell general merchandise to customers exercising professional selling techniques.  Works as part of a sales team to provide service which anticipates and exceeds customer expectations.<BR><BR><b>JOB REQUIREMENTS<BR>Resumes not addressing these items may not be referred</b><BR>- No felony or violent crime (including domestic assault and violation of a protective order) convictions.<BR>- 6 months experience in retail sales store work of any kind.<BR>- Able to meet dress standards to include:  No visible tatoos and no facial piercings (employees are allowed three earrings per ear).<BR>- Sufficient command of the English language to effectively communicate with coworkers and customers<BR>- Able to complete sales transactions in a timely manner.<BR>- Able to greet and engage customers in conversation for purposes of providing sales related assistance.<BR>- Able to assist in the selection of merchandise and suggest additional items to complement the customer's selections.<BR>- Able to gain knowledge regarding merchandise selected to include proper set-up, use, care, characteristics, and warantee coverage.<BR>- Able to interact with customers and co-workers in a friendly and professional manner.<BR><BR><b>HOURS / DAYS / SCHEDULE</b><BR>Flex-time position working 15 or more hours per week.  May be asked to work any day of the week, days and evenings.  (When completing the company application, you must choose "Flex" as one of your choices for hours interested in.)<BR><BR><b>SALARY / WAGE / BENEFITS</b><BR>$9.10 per hour.<BR><BR><b>CLOSING DATE / DEADLINE</b><BR>Position closes September 30, 2012.<BR><BR><b>HOW TO APPLY</b><BR>You must visit a WorkSource office in person between the hours of 8:30 am and 4pm with this job order number to request a referral and for application instructions.
