               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Security Guard  --  <BR>JOB DESCRIPTION:  Will use specialized training methods and techniques to protect secure areas.   Will ensure and maintain all physical security, visitor processing and badging, response to intrusion alarms, monitoring personnel access, common access card issuance, communication security, counterintelligence support, and both electronic and information systems security support.   Will operate the on site agency Visit Approval Center and agency Security Service Processing Centers.    Job site is in Bridgeport, WA.<BR><BR>JOB REQUIREMENTS:  <BR>WorkSource will only refer applicants to teh employer who meet the following qualifications:<BR>  *  Must have a valid Washington State Driver's License. <BR>In addition, be prepared to demonstrate the following qualifications to the employer:<BR>  *  Must pass pre-employment mental, medical, and physical testing requirements (including a mile and a half run in 17:30 and 25 pushups in two minutes). <BR>  *  Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check, and be able to qualify for and maintain a Secret government clearance. ( Must be a United States citizen.  Minimum age of 18 and must be 21 years of age or older to carry a weapon.) <BR>  *  Must have the ability to pass the Washington Licensing Exam to carry a weapon. <BR>  *  Must pass pre-employment drug testing. <BR>  *  Must be able to provide verifiable employment and personal references.<BR>  *  Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English to communicate with customers, supervisors, and co-workers. <BR><BR>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:  <BR>  *  Prior military, security, or law enforcement experience is a plus. <BR>  *  Preference will be given to those applicants with an active Secret or higher security clearance and those that possess a current, valid Security Guard License. <BR><BR>HOURS / DAYS / SCHEDULE:  Full-time position, working 32 to 40 hours per week.  Must be available for all shifts, all days of the week.<BR><BR>SALARY / WAGE / BENEFITS:  Rate of pay is $12.22 per hour (plus benefits) for unarmed position (and increases for armed position. <BR><BR>CLOSING DATE / DEADLINE:  Open until filled.<BR><BR>HOW TO APPLY:  Contact WorkSource for instructions on how to apply.  (Applicants that do not follow through with the instructions provided -- including incomplete applications -- may not be considered for the position.)</font></td>
