Maintain staff calendars and department files. Review and handle mail; answer telephones. Participate in budgeting process. Handle confidential material.<BR><BR>The ideal candidate will have experience providing administrative support in a behavioral health/psychiatric environment. This person will need to communicate effectively with vulnerable or difficult patients and have the ability to recommend a course of action based on input from multiple sources.<BR>Education<BR>Minimum Education Requirements<BR>High School Diploma/GED <BR><BR>Preferred Education<BR>Bachelor''s Degree<BR><BR>Knowledge/Skills<BR>Minimum Knowledge/Skills Requirements<BR>Intermediate Writing and math skills. Customer service and communication skills. Initiative and analytical ability. Proficiency with software used by the department. Typing: 55 WPM. Skills testing as appropriate.<BR><BR>Preferred Knowledge/Skills<BR>Basic project management skills. PowerPoint skills including presentation creation and ability to analyze and present data using Excel.<BR><BR>Experience<BR>Minimum Experience Requirements<BR>3 years Administrative or comparable experience.<BR><BR>Preferred Experience<BR>Experience working effectively with vulnerable or difficult patients.
