Coordinate care for Regence members. </b> </p></p> <b>Medical Services Training and Development Coordinator </p> Burlington, WA; Tacoma, WA; Seattle, WA; Salt Lake City, UT; Lewiston, ID; Portland, OR; Medford, OR; Salem, OR</b> </p></p> <b>Bring your training skills to this role where you will:</b> <ul><li> Assist the Manager and/or Assistant Director in overseeing and coordinating the activities related to training and staff development <li> Participate in the departmental strategic plan development and promote achievement of department goals consistent with corporate objectives <li> Assure that training is provided that results in trained staff providing medically necessary, cost-effective quality care delivered according to program specifications</ul> </p></p><BR></p><BR><b>Key qualifications and experience:</b></p> Must have at least one of the following qualifications: <ul><li> A Bachelors (or higher) Degree in a health-related field and current licensure as a health care professional (where such licensure is available), and Certification as a case manager; OR <li> RN License or Professional certification in a clinical specialty and at 3+ years clinical practice experience, and 5+ years of experience in combination of training or coaching adult learners, group facilitation, instructional design and/or distance learning <li> Commitment to a culture of learning and continued growth <li> Extensive and varied background in a health related field with knowledge of current medical standards of practice, case management, and utilization management standards of practice <li> Knowledge of Regence health promotion, utilization/case management products, policies and procedures <li> Intricate knowledge of PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Excel, and HTML web-based applications or similar applications <li> Leadership skills by showing initiative, serving as a role model, and identifying and taking action on personal growth needs</ul> </p></p> <b>In addition, Candidates must be able to:</b> <ul><li> Instruct, motivate and instruct individuals at various skill levels over the phone, in person, electronically, and in the classroom environment <li> Work independently, yet function effectively as a team member <li> Remain assertive and calm in difficult situations <li> Organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks <li> Remain flexible in a dynamic work environment <li> Exercise good judgment, discretion, and initiative in a highly sensitive, confidential working environment</ul> </p></p> Regence employees are part of the larger Cambia family of companies, which seeks to drive innovative health solutions.
