               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Title: Pharmacy Technician<BR>Location: OR-Pendleton-St Anthony Hospital<BR>Job Number:_1200015366<BR>Job Summary:<BR><BR>This job is responsible for routinely compounding and distributing medication and pharmaceutical supplies, in both IV admixture and pharmacy distribution areas, in accordance with facility standards and procedures and regulatory requirements. Work is performed under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.<BR><BR>Essential Duties:<BR>* Assists pharmacist in providing pharmaceutical care to include (but not limited to) mixing of IVs, distribution of medication, screening phone calls/orders and alerting the pharmacist to patient-specific data indicating potential medication misadventure.<BR>* Distributes medication to the patient care areas via automated medication distribution or non-automated systems and is responsible for maintaining these systems.<BR>* Assists the pharmacist during emergency situations (ie.&#8220;code 4&#8221;); is knowledgeable of the crash cart layout and attends in-service updates when offered.<BR>* Reviews and files all required reports from both the automated and non-automated systems and is responsible for documenting QA data.<BR>* Maintains a clean and safe environment for co-workers which includes preparing work area for next shift and using effective communication with oncoming shift.<BR>* Coordinates the workflow of the IV room and uses appropriate aseptic technique; maintains a clean IV admixture area; understands and applies the concept of the &#8220;cleanroom&#8221; environment and abides by ASHP guidelines.<BR>* Meets completion for all educational modules; records attendance of all educational activities in department educational log book and attends staff meetings on a regular basis.<BR>* Keeps abreast of departmental changes and is familiar with current Policy and Procedures along with JCAHO requirements.<BR>* Performs monthly patient care area inspections and reports as assigned by the Manager.<BR>* Precepts students within the Technician Training Program by assisting them in their education and growth.<BR><BR>Qualifications:<BR><BR>Education:<BR>* High School Diploma or equivalent.<BR>* Graduation from an accredited Pharmacy Technician training program preferred.<BR>Experience: <BR>* <BR>One year of hospital work experience or hospital rotation within an accredited training program.<BR>License/Certification: <BR>* <BR>Licensed as a Pharmacy Technician by the State Board of Pharmacy.<BR>* <BR>Current CPR Certification.<BR>Additional Responsibilities:<BR>* Demonstrates a commitment to service, organization values and professionalism through appropriate conduct and demeanor at all times.<BR>* Adheres to and exhibits our core values:<BR>Reverence:Having a profound spirit of awe and respect for all creation, shaping relationships to self, to one another and to God and acknowledging that we hold in trust all that has been given to us.<BR>Integrity:Moral wholeness, soundness, uprightness, honesty and sincerity as a basis of trustworthiness.<BR>Compassion:Feeling with others, being one with others in their                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    </font></td>
