<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Title: Registered Nurse - CCU<BR>Location: OR-Pendleton-St Anthony Hospital<BR>Job Number:_1200020564<BR>Job Summary: <BR><BR><BR>This job is responsible for directing and coordinating members of the care team, focusing on the provision of individualized quality patient care consistent with organizational standards. Develops the patient plan of care in partnership with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and patient/family. This position is responsible for providing care to the patient who is hemodynamically unstable and requires complex monitoring of multiple systems and/or nursing interventions every one to two hours. <BR>Essential Duties:<BR>* Manages and coordinates the care of patients in a defined care delivery model, utilizing the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.<BR>* Supervises and/or provides all nursing care provided to an assigned patient population. Any delegated care is based on the abilities and limitations of care personnel and patient acuity. Continually monitors the performance of the team members reporting to the RN and adjusts the delivery of care or clinical technique appropriate to the patient.<BR>* Collaborates and communicates effectively with the interdisciplinary team.<BR>* Accountable for patient/family education in collaboration with interdisciplinary care team and patient/family.<BR>* Documents nursing care and patient status in accordance with the nursing process and standards of care.<BR>* Provides a safe environment and promotes quality patient care through adherence to established standards.<BR>* Identifies opportunities for and participates in performance improvement activities.<BR>* Demonstrates competent professional practice, and engages in opportunities for professional growth.<BR>* Contributes to the productivity and professional environment of the department.<BR>* Provides continuous cardiac monitoring, arrhythmia recognition and intervention.<BR>* Initiates and titrates multiple, complex cardiac related infusions at higher doses.<BR>* Manages intubated/mechanically ventilated patients. <BR>* Manages patients with acute neurological/neurosurgical events.<BR>* Manages acute trauma patients.<BR><BR>Qualifications:<BR><BR>Education: <BR>* Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. <BR>* Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred . <BR>Experience:<BR>* <BR>One-year experience within the last three (3) years in an acute care setting preferred.<BR>* Previous PCU/ICU experience preferred, or<BR>* 1-2 years med/surg experience and successful completion of critical care residency program, or<BR>* New graduate with completion of senior practicum in a specialty area i.e.: critical care, ED, PACU and successful completion of critical care residency program.<BR>License/Certification:<BR>* Current State Licensure as a Registered Nurse required.<BR>* BLS required.<BR>* Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or attainment within six months of hire.<BR>* CCRN/Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse (CNRN) preferred.<BR>Additional Responsibilities:<BR>* Demonstrates a commitment to service </font></td>
