               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Title: Service Estimator - Pendleton<BR>Location: US-Oregon-PENDLETON<BR>Other Locations: null<BR><BR>JOB SUMMARY<BR>Under limited supervision, validate current plant design based on company records, and gather relevant information regarding scope of work and costs related to line extensions. Design line extension layout by calculating loss and gain characteristics of cable passive and active devices. Work with our customers to understand needs. Build quotes and as-built maps.<BR><BR><BR>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION<BR>Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience<BR><BR>Coordinate with engineers and developers in designing the plant by performing site surveys of as-built and proposed projects<BR><BR>Adhere to industry specific local, state, and federal regulations, as applicable<BR><BR>Draw and sketch installation and location of equipment such as amplifiers, power supplies and cables per standard company construction and design specifications<BR><BR>Complete bill of materials and order materials needed for approved planned construction for line extensions, rebuilds, reworks, new fiber nodes or other projects<BR><BR>Ensure map databases are updated with any system changes per company design specifications<BR><BR>Prepare system maps and/or print reduction packages for distribution<BR><BR>Adhere to industry specific local, state, and federal regulations as applicable<BR><BR>Coordinate permitting and make ready process<BR><BR>Know, understand and follow company policy<BR><BR>Perform other duties as requested by supervisor<BR><BR><BR>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS<BR>Skills/Abilities and Knowledge<BR>Ability to read, write, and speak the English language to communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straightforward, and professional manner<BR>Ability to use computer and [word processing, spreadsheet, computer aided drafting software] accurately and efficiently<BR>Ability to work independently<BR>Ability to prioritize and organize effectively<BR>Ability to read general system layouts from blueprints<BR>Ability to adhere to Local, Federal regulations and Company policies<BR>Ability to drive Company vehicle in a safe and responsible manner<BR>Ability to use personal computer and software applications<BR>Knowledge and ability to use the following office equipment: computer, telephone, copier, fax, calculator and stapler.<BR>Knowledge of basic electrical theory, ohms law, series and parallel DC circuits, voltage drops and passive devices, National Electric Code and National Electrical Safety Code<BR>Knowledge of basic mathematics and theory of geometry<BR>Knowledge of Broadband RF design and theory<BR>Knowledge of company products and services<BR>Ability to accurately measure distances, using tapes or other measuring devices<BR>Ability to carry, climb and operate extension ladder, (approx. 32 ft high and 90 pounds)<BR>Ability to perform job from high places (i.e. poles and roofs)<BR>Ability to use the following hand tools: electric drills, hammers, wrenches, screwdrivers<BR>Ability t                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     </font></td>
