The firm draws on more than two decades of consulting and management services to public sector clients to deliver best-practice solutions and measurable results.<BR> SSI/SSDI Overview:<BR>Within the organization PCG has a project team dedicated to providing Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) representation and advocacy work for low income Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) and foster care agencies throughout the country. This project team is referred to as our Social Security Advocacy Management ServiceSSAMS™team. TheSSAMS™team’s projects include the identification, development, application and representation of and post entitlement claims at all levels of the adjudication process including attending hearings with our clients before Administrative Law Judges and SSA post entitlement work.Overall Responsibilities:<BR>Public Consulting Group is seeking aClaims Developer. He/She will work closely with Social Workers and foster care parent in the development and documentation of foster care children’s SSI claims. The Claims Developer will be responsible for requesting medical and school information and making sure each case has all of the information required by SSA to file an application.<BR> Specific Responsibilities:<BR>* Request medical, physiological, school and work records. <BR>* Identify proper forms and obtain signatures on all the required forms and documentation. <BR>* Maintain regular contact with the client to assure customer satisfaction and to obtain updated medical and vocational information. <BR>* Provide monthly reporting statistics to the Team Lead for designated area of responsibility. <BR>* Assist the Case Writer with overall development of the Theory of the Case and with any post or pre-application development.<BR>Required Skills<BR>Required Skills:<BR>* Proper telephone etiquette including customer relation techniques. <BR>* Understanding of modern office methods and practices and be efficient with computers. <BR>* Proper usage of English language including grammar, spelling and vocabulary. <BR>* Strong Interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish working relationships with federal, state and county agencies as well as the general public. <BR>* Ability to recognize and maintain confidentiality of all materials in the work setting. <BR>* Knowledge and understanding of SSA’s medical, mental and vocational criteria’s  </font></td>
