<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;"><b>JOB DESCRIPTION :</b> <BR>Financial Planning Assistant (Para planner) for local business. Two years administrative clerical experience mandatory. Will perform clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors and phone calls, scheduling appointments and inputting data into computerized programs. Will be using Microsoft office suite as well as industry specific soft ware, cross training with other office staff, and make client presentations.<BR><BR><b>JOB REQUIREMENTS :</b><BR>- AA degree in related field and 2 years experience;<BR> OR a combination of education and expereience, which would provide applicant with the desired skills<BR>- Two years administrative clerical experience-this is not an entry level position<BR>- Mandatory that applicant be proficient in Microsoft Office suite (testing required) <BR>- Must quickly master additional computer applications/tools and be comfortable with changing technology-will be using industry specific software<BR>- Must be comfortable in a high-tech, fast-paced office setting with changing routines and priorities and have the ability to work independently<BR>- Successful passage of a criminal background check., credit check and drug screen<BR>- Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills, and the ability to think through issues and problems, offer solutions and take responsibility for task completion<BR>- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills<BR>- Must have efficient time management and multi-tasking skills<BR>- Must show initiative, have a positive attitude and sincere willingness to learn, grow, improve and succeed<BR>- Non-smoking work environment<BR>- Professional appearance and demeanor<BR>- Will be required to take continuing education courses to increase knowledge and skills.<BR><BR><b>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :</b><BR>- Securities and insurance license preferred<BR>- Background in financial, accounting or insurance preferred<BR>- Marketing experience/background also a plus<BR><BR><b>HOURS/DAYS/SCHEDULE: </b><BR>35 - 40 hours a week<BR>Monday through Friday, 8:00 to 5:00pm. Possible evening workshops<BR><BR><b>SALARY/WAGE/BENEFITS:</b><BR>$13.00 - $15.00 per hour or more depending upon skills, experience and education<BR>Vacation, retirement plan, bonus pool, sick and holiday pay after a probation period.
