               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Camp Outlook is the state of Washington’s Juvenile Offender Basic Training Camp. The Camp is a four-month program based on the U.S. Marine Corps recruit training model with a focus on fitness, drill, self-discipline and leadership – all within a secure, treatment-oriented and disciplined military environment. We provide balanced set of services many of our adolescent clients need to make a positive change in their lives.<BR><BR>Primary Responsibilities: <BR><BR>Provides for the security of program and the discipline, health, safety, and welfare of the trainees.  Additionally provides training to trainees in military bearing, customs and courtesies, drill and ceremonies, challenge courses and confidence building.<BR><BR>Pioneer Human Services (PHS) is a nationally recognized statewide non-profit organization with over 50 locations providing an integrated array of services to include employment and training, chemical dependency treatment, mental health counseling and corrections service.<BR><BR>Essential Duties:<BR><BR>• Use positive reinforcement and approved discipline techniques to modify trainees behavior.<BR>• Enforce all rules and regulations of the basic training camp program.<BR>• Prevent escapes and maintain good order and discipline among trainees.<BR>• Supervise trainee movement, security and program participation.<BR>• Provide instruction on basic military tasks.<BR>• Provide instruction on Close Order Drill.<BR>• Performs other duties as assigned.<BR><BR>Physical Requirements:<BR><BR>• Must wear safety protective equipment as required.  (I.e. helmet, foot protection, gloves)<BR>• Must be able to sit or stand continuously for up to 8 hours per day.<BR>• Must be able to bend, squat, kneel and reach out and above shoulders.<BR>• Successfully pass the Initial and Quarterly Close Order Drill Evaluations.<BR>• Successfully pass the Initial and Quarterly Physical Fitness tests.<BR>• Successfully pass the Defensive Tactics portion of DWRY training as required.<BR><BR>Education and Experience<BR><BR>• Must be at least 21 years of age<BR>• High School Diploma or equivalent<BR>• One year of experience in the care of troubled youth or two years of experience in a regimented program such as the military or corrections.<BR>• Valid Washington State driver’s license and clear a DMV Driving Record Check<BR>• Obtain a Class C CDL driver’s license within 90 days of employment<BR>• CPR/First Aid Certification.<BR>• Food Handler’s Card within 90 days of employment<BR>• Must clear a criminal history background check and pre-employment drug test.<BR><BR>All personnel are required to maintain current certificates, permits, and performance proficiencies as specified.<BR><BR>Compensation is based on dependent on qualifications and includes an excellent benefits package.<BR><BR>Application Process<BR>In order to be considered for this position, please visit our website at www.pioneerhumanservices.org and download our application.
