               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Title: Manager, Nurse  Family Birth Unit 1.0 days -SEH<BR>Location: WA-Enumclaw<BR>Job Number:_1200007215<BR>Job Summary:This position is responsible for planning, managing, and evaluating the daily operations of the Women''s and Infant''s Services (WIS) Unit in accordance with business objectives, standards of patient care/practice, safety/risk management guidelines and applicable regulatory/accreditation requirements. Work includes: 1) ensuring safe patient care based on WIS best practice and standards of care; 2) preparing/administering department budget; 3) developing policies/procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and standard of care; 4) developing/implementing quality improvement initiatives to enhance/streamline current procedures/processes; and 5) supervising and evaluating clinical staff. An incumbent may also function as a WIS staff RN as needed.<BR><BR>.Essential Job Functions<BR>* <BR>Manages and evaluates the operations, programs and resources of the assigned clinical area/facility to assure the safe and appropriate delivery of diagnostic and/or therapeutic patient care, achievement of clinical core measurement scores, and to ensure that all activities are conducted in a timely and cost-effective manner and in compliance with organizational values, professional standards, collective bargaining agreements, internal policies/standards procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.<BR>* <BR>Plans, manages and evaluates the work of clinical/administrative staff engaged in the delivery of nursing care to WIS patients in accordance with the content, spirit and intent of applicable internal/external regulations and standards for human resource management; identifies adequate staffing levels or appropriate coverage to meet budgetary and operational objectives; ensures that employees are qualified and properly trained to perform assigned job duties.<BR>* <BR>Ensures that all aspects of clinical operations are conducted and documented in compliance with relevant internal policies, standards and procedures as well as applicable regulatory requirements.<BR>* <BR>Works with management team to ensure the application of consistent practices relating to internal operations, patient care, quality of human resources activities and FHS standards.<BR>* <BR>Identifies resources needed to accomplish the performance objectives of the assigned clinical area/facility and participates in the development of the annual operating/capital budget for the overall clinical function.<BR><BR><BR><BR><BR><BR>Qualifications:<BR><BR>Education/Experience: Bachelor''s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration or related field, graduation from an accredited school of nursing and five years of progressively responsible related work experience including two years in a supervisory or management capacity.<BR><BR>An equivalent amount of additional qualifying work experience may be substituted for up to two years of the education requirement.<BR><BR><BR><BR>License/Certifications:<BR><BR>* Licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Washington State Board of Nursi                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         </font></td>
