<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Job Title: Apprentice Mechanic Requisition Number: 27738<BR><BR>Functional Area: Manufacturing/Operations<BR>Work Location: Landing Gear - Everett<BR><BR>Job Description Summary: JOB SUMMARY: Ensure timely completion of a quality product for assigned functional area of a specific assembly program.<BR><BR>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND responsibilities:<BR>The Apprentice Mechanic must demonstrate the aptitude to learn, retain, recall and perform all of the following:<BR>Major and minor assembly of landing gear components, assemblies and sub-assemblies, assisted as required.<BR>Read and interpret manufacturing blueprints and other pertinent documents used for assembly of landing gear (i.e. mfg. specifications, quality documentation etc.).<BR>Interface with engineering, planning, inspection and customer in a professional manner.<BR>Assume the responsibility of completing the work assigned in a quality and timely manner.<BR>Work with precision tools.<BR>Comply with shelf life procedures.<BR>Maintain a clean and professional work area and participate in daily cleaning procedures.<BR>Comply with hazardous material disposal procedures.<BR>Comply with and demonstrate safety policies and procedures.<BR>Perform other duties as required to achieve team goals.<BR>Other duties as assigned.<BR>Basic Qualifications: KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES: Ability to read, interpret, and follow LGD/SGA work instructions.<BR>Ability to use hand, pneumatic, and precision tools<BR>Basic skills in forklift and crane operation Basic computer skills and record keeping abilities<BR>Moderate lifting ability<BR>Understand and follow verbal and written directions.<BR>Ability to work in a fast paced, moderately noisy environment (may be below or above 89 dba).<BR>Ability to work with and around fellow coworkers in close proximity and in a team environment displaying mutual respect.<BR>Ability to speak, read, understand, and write English.<BR><BR>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:<BR>High school diploma or equivalent<BR>A good mechanical/technical background<BR>Must have good written and verbal communication skills<BR>At least 2 years of Aerospace experience<BR>Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, assembly plans & engineering specifications<BR><BR>The following is for internal applicants only;<BR>By clicking on "Apply" you agree to answer the following questions:<BR>1) Do you have a high school diploma or equivalent?<BR>2) Are you a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder?<BR>3) Are you able to read and interpret blueprints, assembly plans & engineering specifications?<BR>4) Do you have at least 2 years of Aerospace experience?<BR>5) Are you willing to work 6:30am - 3:00pm on a regular basis (Monday - Friday) and be flexible to work other shifts?<BR><BR>Goodrich is an equal opportunity employer committed to advancing diversity in the workplace.
