The candidate in this position provides financial products and services and acts as a business advisor in a diverse and complex Supplier Management organization. Collects, compiles, integrates, and documents source data in support of analysis of financial and/or forecasts and opportunities and risks. Develops, reviews, analyzes, and maintains cost performance measurement against baselines and provides variance analyses. Prepares weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports for customers. Works with Business Partner to assess opportunities & risks related to the Long Range Business Plan (LRBP) and monthly forecast. Performs recurring tasks such as establishing charge line information, preparing and/or supporting various work authorizations and work package development/maintenance. Reconciles data discrepancies and corrects errors in cost charging. Runs routine weekly/monthly reports and provides ad-hoc reports. Gathers and tracks operating group metrics related to tools, processes and training. Records problems/issues identified by tool and process users and tracks resolution. Updates process and tool documentation as directed. Potential for working with Partner Managed Inventory and traveling to 787 supplier sites to perform physical audit counts and reconciliation of Boeing owned airplane parts located at supplier sites.
